Thank you to all the teachers, but especially, Ms A Le Roux for preparing the children so well.

HOMEWORK

Last year in line with world trends and  increased pressure on our children we as a school agreed to reduce the amount of homework.  However, homework does have a place in our schooling as it reinforces work covered in class and consolidates knowledge.  The teachers know the amount of work the children should be capable of completing.  If you are experiencing a problem please discuss this with your class teacher.

MISSING ARTICLES

Some articles of clothing and water bottles have gone missing, especially by the grade three classroom.  Please make sure all your child’s belongings are labelled and we will try hard to tighten up on security.  We will be reviewing the camera footage.

CROSS COUNTRY

Well done to the team and their coaches for trying so hard at the Encourager Gateway Cross Country.  I was very pleased with the children’s effort, especially as it was a blistering hot day.

MATCH SLIP BOX

Just a reminder that the children must place their match slips in the box by the kitchen before 8.00 am.

Yours sincerely
