Dear Parents/Guardians

 

END OF TERM

The end of term school date has not been confirmed.  As soon as it has been announced we will inform you.

 

CAMPS

With the uncertainty of the end of term, this does affect our camps.  However at the moment the Grade Six camp from 23rd July to 27th July at Lasting Impressions in Kadoma will still take place.

A decision about the Grade Seven camp from 29th July to 3rd August at RIFA will be made once the Ministry of Education announces the end of term.

 

INTERNET SAFELY AND BULLYING TALK

Just a reminder that Mrs Fiona Mills will be talking to the children this week.  She will report back to the parents/guardians on Wednesday 20th June at 6.00 pm in the J.P. Hall.  I would urge you all to attend.

 

INTER-SCHOOLS SPONSORED SPELLING COMPETITION

This will be held on Tuesday 19th June at 6.00 pm at Gateway Junior School.  We would like to wish our two contestants, Matthew Landman and Dishant Mangtani, a rewarding competition.

 

SPONSORED CAPITALS

The Sponsored Capitals test will be on Wednesday 20th June.  Please hand in the money by Friday 29th June.

 

FIXTURE FREE WEEKEND

The fixture free weekend is from 1.00 pm on Thursday 21st June to 7.15 am Tuesday 26th June.

 

CHOICE CHILDREN’S CHOIR

The Choice Children’s Choir will be performing on Saturday 30th June at REPS Theatre at 5.30 pm for 6.00 pm.  This is their final concert before they leave for the World Choir Games in Tswane on Wednesday 4th July.

 

GRADE SEVEN ENTRY EXAMINATION

This will take place on Saturday 7th July.

 

SCHOOL EXAMINATIONS

Grade Seven pupils will write school examinations from Monday 2nd July through to Friday 13th July .  Grades Three to Six will work on a continuous assessment and will be given percentage marks for each subject.  Reports will be issued at the end of term.

 

SHONA FESTIVAL

Thanks to Mrs Munenge for a lovely Shona Festival. All the children participated and looked wonderful in their attire.

 

LOST PROPERTY

Every week we have an enormous amount of lost property.  Please make sure your children’s belongings are marked and remind your children to be responsible with their belongings.

 

 

 

THRIFT SHOP
