NEWSLETTER NO. 22 MONDAY 15 OCTOBER 2018
We certainly live in interesting times, but with everything that is going on, our pupils still manage to achieve great successes.
Matthew Landman for being selected to join the hockey development program run by the Hockey Association of Zimbabwe for Youth in the Under 11 – 13 age groups. The program will develop the players and provide them the opportunity to represent Zimbabwe in the African Youth Olympic Qualifiers.
Jordan Berry for representing Zimbabwe in the Equestrian Vaulting team at the Africa Cup in Johannesburg. Jordan did exceptionally well and came second in his age group missing the top spot by 0.25 of a point! We are hoping that Jordan and his mum, who represented Poland, in the same event, will come and demonstrate their skills towards the end of the term.
The Swimming Team for competing so well at the recent friendly gala held at Sharon on Friday 12th October against Convent, Gateway and Hartmann House. The team tried really hard and performed admirably with our swimmers being the only ones to congratulate the other competitors!
The Grade Twos for their lovely Teddy Bears’ tea party.
The Grade Fours for their wonderful Mad Hatter’s tea party.
The Grade Fives for making delicious lemonade.
The Grade Sevens for completing the ZIMSEC examinations.
The Colts, 1st and 2nd XI Cricket teams for playing in recent matches.
