Dear Parents/Guardians

 

It is hard to believe that we are already in the second last month of the year.  This is a very busy time of the term with examinations, galas and end of year formalities.

 

Please take note of the following times and dates for this week:-

 

FRIDAY 9TH NOVEMBER

Individual Medley Relays at 8.00 am

Infants’ Gala at 9.30 am

 

SUNDAY 11TH NOVEMBER

There will be a short synchronised swimming demonstration at 9.00 am.  The three girls, Amy Shallow, Sophie Spong and Jorja Wells have worked very hard and we look forward to their performance.

Inter-house Gala on Sunday 11th November, all children to be seated by 8.30 am.

 

We have had some excellent achievements this past week:-

 

MUSICIANS IN THE MAKING

This concert was held on Friday 2nd November and I am sure those of you who were there will agree, it was a wonderful display of some very talented musicians.  Well done to all the children who participated and thanks to Ms Lisa Mostert and all the music teachers for compiling this excellent showcase.

  

 

 

GRADE SEVEN FUND RAISER

Well done to Ms Le Roux and Grade Seven for a lovely event of fashion, fun and fabulous soccer.  The Grade Sevens enjoyed themselves, and so did everyone who attended. A grand total of $1340.00 was raised for their Leavers’ Dance.  Thanks also to Mr Gava and Mrs Brickhill for providing a wonderful venue and delicious food!   Well done to the Grade Six team for winning the soccer!

 

HARARE SCHOOLS’ CRICKET

Congratulations to Krishay Bhikha and Matthew Landman for being selected to play in the Harare Schools’ side.  The tournament will be held this coming weekend.

 

SPCA COLOURING COMPETITION

Well done to Hayley Ferreira for winning a second place in the Grade Seven section and to Sara Nell for coming second in the Grade Zero section.

 

PA RAFFLE SHEETS

Please make sure you have returned all your raffle sheets and monies, as the money raised benefits our school and your children.  The P.A. has just purchased sixteen new computers.
