Last week was very disruptive and decisions to open or close school were not taken lightly. The safety of your children, as always, was paramount.
My thanks to Members of the Board for their support and guidance, to the staff and the class representatives for their efficiency in relaying messages and to you, the parents, for your understanding.

EAR AND EYE SCREENING TESTS
These will take place on 5th February 2019 for Grade One and new pupils, letter to follow.
THE YELLOW BUS
Mrs. Drury from the Yellow Bus Organisation collects books and stationery for schools in need. Our children have been asked to collect for this worthy cause. If you have any books or stationery, in satisfactory condition, please send it to the school office, thank you.
TuB’shvat- Grade 5 will be hosting this special tree planting ceremony on Thursday 24th January at 10 o’clock. All parents are welcome to attend.
The Encourager Cross Country- Friday 25th January at 2; 00pm at Gateway Junior School.
Parents’ Association Annual General Meeting- Tuesday 29th January at 7:30am in the J.P. Hall. Please hand in your nominations and make every effort to attend this meeting as our school needs your help!
